Genevate Launches New Website for Cape Cod Regional Technical High School

Genevate today launched a new redesigned website for the Cape Cod Regional Technical High School Crusaders, located in Harwich, Cape Cod, MA. The site was designed and developed using Web Standards and utilizing W3C guidelines for XHTML and CSS, and Section 508 of the U.S. Federal Rehabilitation Act; a necessity for all schools who believe in disenfranchising no one from their website.

Genevate integrated their new Content Management system, Protent, into the design and development so the Cape Tech staff can easily and quickly make changes of over 90% of the site.

Cape Tech is utilizing the built-in Calendar, News, and the Photo Gallery from Protent to keep the students, teachers and parents informed of updates at the school. The site features a “Quick Link” search for all the Navigation links, a Google Search imbedded on the site, and several ways for parents and students to find whatever they need on the site fast.

All the content on the site is made search-engine friendly and very easy to update, and since it is web-based, anyone can work on it anytime from anywhere, as long as there is an Internet connection
